It’s hard today, Torches. It is really hard today.

What the murder of Daunte Wright in the middle of the Derek Chavin Trial (it is NOT the George Floyd Trial!) is indicative of the careless nature of law enforcement whenever that state entity encounters Black and Brown people! As mother of daughters, as a mother of biracial children, I am horrified.

I am angry.

I am tired.

Daunte Wright was killed because the officer on scene didn’t know her left from her right or her colors?

No.

No ma’am.

I am tired of the hash tags. I am tired of the trauma porn, I am tired of feeling helpless, I am tired of my own tears!

I will say this, and this is the last time that I will (as it relates to this situation):

Police are not God. Police are only an arm of the law–not the law in its entirety! The time for dismantling the archaic, racist permutation of police department needs to be dismantled. It must be dismantled! These people that are paid by the tax-paying public cannot be allowed to murder people and go home to wash the blood off!

ALL COPS ARE BASTARDS (ACAB) BECAUSE THE MOTHERLAND THAT BIRTHED IT REFUSES TO CHASTISE AND CORRECT THE SONS IT CREATED!
